The best option would be to get the parrot at the age of 2 months. There are a couple of reasons to do that. Doing this may help the owner to build a strong bond with the parrot. For those who have a parrot that is older than a year and has not had significant socialization with humans, he may not ever decide to talk, but he will still make a great pet. You shouldn’t get a parrot for the sole purpose of teaching them to talk.
