As its name suggests, the Big-Headed Turtle has an extremely big head, so much so that it isn’t actually in a position to pull its head into its shell.

The Green Sea Turtle is an endangered species of turtle, and is a rather large species of sea turtle. It is mainly located in tropical and sub-tropical areas around the globe, and has two different populations in both the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. Because it is an endangered species, harming, killing, and collecting them is illegal.

There is one species of turtle that can be found in captivity around the planet. It is the Red Eared Slider Turtle. In the wild, they are mainly discovered in southern United States, especially in the Mississippi River. They get their name from the red markings they have along the sides of their ears.
