You may have recently seen a new episode where building a chicken coop became one of Kate Gosselin’s new home projects.  You may have started wondering if this is a realistic idea for the average Joe. The suggestion, that you to can have a chicken coop in your backyard has suddenly become an realistic question.

It probably was a surprise that chicken coop construction is not very hard to do and that it is an excellent source of farm fresh eggs, but also enjoyable for the entire family. Time:  A simple chicken coop can be built in a day, some will take the weekend.  But no matter what coop you decide to build schedule in sometime where the entire family can participate in the activity.

You do not have to be a farmer or a TV celebrity to start building chicken coops in your backyard, they are for everyone everywhere.  It is an easy to accomplish project, fun for the whole family and a great learning experience for everyone involved.
